The Ozarks Regional Lily Society is an affiliate of North American Lily Society (NALS) and was formed in 1986 for the purpose of promoting the propagation and planting of Lilies in the Ozarks region.
Our purpose is to educate the public about the genus Lilium.
We are an affiliate of the North American Lily Society.
We meet in February for a business meeting, have a public bulb sale in March, a lily show open to the public in June, picnic and business meeting in the summer> and a business meeting and bulb sale for members in October. Informative and interesting programs are given at the meetings. Some of our members are very active in the national organization. Nine members are national judges.
Newsletters are mailed to members about five times a year.
A public garden planted by members and featuring many divisions of Lilium is located in Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park.
