Beds for Kids at Sammy’s Window
By Mark Hay, June 16, 2012
I talked with a lady today who has 5 foster kids. They are sleeping on gnarly mattresses. They desperatly need newer mattresses and beds to put them on. 2 bunk beds would be great. The 3 boys are small enough that a twin over full bunk like we buy would be just right. The 2 little girls would be perfect for the other.
All I need are 2 twin over full bunk beds, 2 twin mattresses and 2 full mattresses. Or some cash.
This lady was referred to me by a Sammy’s Window follower who saw all of them at the store. All clean and well behaved. She stopped this mom to compliment her on how well the kids were in the store. She learned their story and gave me a call, and told the foster mom to give me a ring.
I am going to meet the mom and kids next week I would love to present them with good news! A lady like this that will step up and give kids a home and teach them how to behave deserves our help.
