Journey into the hidden world of Ozark streams through the spectacular under-water photography of William Roston. Five stream habitats-headwater, spring branch, pool, riffle and back- water-are investigated, revealing the underwater lives of animals such as the rainbow darter, water penny and hornyhead chub.

William Roston is a Friends of the Garden board member, a primary garden designer and builder of many of the gardens in Close Memorial Park, 2400 S. Scenic Ave., Springfield MO, 65807. Also located in the park, the Bill Roston Native Butterfly House was his inspiration and design plus he was instrumental in its construction. Bill is a retired Doctor of Osteopathy and has had more than 2000 photographs published on a variety of subjects.
