OZARK, Mo. – The Christian County Master Gardener chapter is offering a free gardening seminar, “Gardening Concepts for Summer,” from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., May 5 at the Nixa Community Center, 701 N. Taylor Way, Nixa.
Topics and speakers at the seminar include:
1) “Creating a Garden Sanctuary” by Tom Lakowske, a Greene County Master Gardener;
2) “Go Native in Your Garden” by Paul Armstrong, Grow Native member; and
3) “Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers for Container Gardening” by Barbara Self, Christian County Master Gardener.
Because space is limited, advance registration is requested by Wednesday, May 2 by calling the Christian County Extension office at (417) 581-3558.
