Becoming a Botanical Center or Friends of the Garden Volunteer
Information provided by Katie Steinhoff, Botanical Center Coordinator
The vision of creating a nationally recognized public garden is coming together. In the past year, there have been many success stories, and you can read about most of them on the Friends of the Garden website home page article, 2011 Year End President’s Report, here www.friendsofthegarden.org
The need for volunteers in the gardens, behind the computer and in front of audiences for education programs are needed now more than ever! Please review the document about volunteering here http://friendsofthegarden.org/support/volunteer to see what you would be interested in and let Dorothy Brunskill dbrunskill@springfieldmo.gov know how you would like to volunteer. Questions, please call Dorothy at 417.891.1515 or George at 417.840.5472
