Kickapoo Edge Prairie, Close Memorial Park community workday schedule starting April 6th

Join Friends of the Garden and Missouri Prairie Foundation member Rick Mayer for a workday organized to improve the Kickapoo Edge Prairie at Nathanael Greene-Close Park.

Location: Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic, Springfield, MO 65807. Meet us at the Prairie Garden on the east side of the park near the Japanese Stroll Garden parking lot just south of the Gray-Campbell Farmstead.

Please mark your calendar, bring a bucket and a digging tool and help on:

April 6th : 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., planting native forbes

April 13th : 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., weed pull

April 20th : 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., weed pull

May 4th : 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., weed pull

May 18th : 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., weed pull
