Thank You for Making Flower Power a Success!

Sometimes the weather has other plans—but thanks to YOU, our Flower Power Garden Gala was still an unforgettable evening! Severe storms may have moved us indoors, but the warmth, joy, and energy from our incredible guests and volunteers filled the space with peace, love, and community spirit.

We’re especially grateful to our dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to adapt at the last minute, and to every guest who showed up with smiles and open hearts. Your support not only made the night a success but also continues to help Friends of the Garden grow and thrive.

Two of Springfield Botanical Garden’s most beloved spaces—The White Garden and The Rose Garden—take center stage at the 2025 Flower Power Garden Gala.

Inspired by Sissinghurst Castle, the White Garden features serene white blooms, weeping trees, and a sculpture of founder Major Close, with his mother’s pink roses as the only pop of color.

Nearby, the Rose Garden bursts with over 250 roses in stunning patterns, anchored by native stone, a gazebo, and accessible paths. Together, they’re a tribute to imagination, beauty, and care of garden founders.
